Fadeyi, who is also vying for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency seat, made this claim during an interview discussing the country's political climate and his legislative ambitions. He described the new law as controversial, suggesting it unfairly favors certain political interests ahead of the next polls. The Oyo lawmaker, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasized his commitment to challenging the status quo despite the perceived structural disadvantages.
Fadeyi's accusation directly implicates Tinubu, a sitting president, in what he frames as pre-rigging the 2027 elections.
