According to Mrs. Eni Ogon, CEO/Director of Schools, the high level of competitiveness was partly due to the school's recent exploits at the Under 11 World School Games Olympia in Doha, Qatar. "Our outing in Doha certainly boosted the morale of our pupils and encouraged them to strive for excellence," she explained. The school's team, led by Mrs. Ogon, had participated in football, swimming, and athletics, and had performed remarkably well. The experience, it seems, has had a lasting impact on the pupils. "I was amazed by the level of competitiveness displayed by the children," said Dr. Jill Cowie, Head of School. "It was heartening to see them support and encourage one another, regardless of their performance." Mrs. Mimi Whyte Femi, President of the Parent-Teacher Forum, was thrilled to see the parents' involvement.
