Vince Vaughn’s Gangster Doubles Have SXSW in Stitches at ‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice’ Premiere
**Vince Vaughn's Hilarious Triple Threat at the SXSW Premiere**
The South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival in the United States recently witnessed a hilarious and action-packed premiere of "Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice," an R-rated gangster movie starring the versatile Vince Vaughn. The film, directed by BenDavid Grabinski, had the audience in stitches on its Saturday night world premiere.
"Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice" tells the story of a mobster named Nick (Vaughn) who travels back in time to team up with Future Nick and Present Nick to save their friend Mike (James Marsden) from a deadly situation. The complicated love life of Nick is further complicated by his involvement with Alice (Eiza González), a woman caught between these two powerful men. The film features an ensemble cast, including Keith David, Jimmy Tatro, Stephen Root, Lewis Tan, Ben Schwartz, Emily Hampshire, and Arturo Castro.
The film's director, BenDavid Grabinski, set the tone for the evening by reading a humorous speech he wrote for a hypothetical MTV Movie Award. In a nod to the film's genre-bending tone, he quipped, "Movies are the best thing in the entire world. Movies are why I get up in the morning. Movies are why I exist. Movies bring me joy, and you are all about to watch a fucking movie."
The film's star, Vince Vaughn, was joined by his co-star Eiza González for a post-film Q&A session. González, who was nervous about taking on a comedy role, received reassurance from Vaughn, who praised her comedic timing. "I thought you were super funny," he said. "It's so surprising to hear you say you've never done comedy."
The film promises to deliver laugh-out-loud moments, absurd fight sequences, and surprising cameos from notable action movie stars. With its original idea and talented cast, "Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice" is set to make a splash when it hits Hulu on March 27.
