The University of Calabar has announced its 38th convocation ceremony, scheduled to take place from Thursday, 2 April 2026 to Sunday, 12 April 2026. The seven-day programme includes a press conference, service, research fair, convocation lecture, command performance, award ceremonies, gala night, and thanksgiving service.
The university has also released the schedule for gown fees, which will be communicated to graduands through their respective departments.
The University of Calabar's 38-day convocation ceremony poses a logistical challenge for students who may be required to travel long distances to attend. This may cause financial strain on some families, particularly those from far-flung areas.
