UNIABUJA has announced its 29th and 30th combined convocation ceremony for 10 to 18 April 2026. The main ceremonies will take place at the University Convocation Square, Main Campus, starting at 10:00 am daily, unless stated otherwise.
The ceremony will feature the award of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, and the conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees. The programme will run from Friday, 10 April to Saturday, 18 April 2026.
Key events include the Juma'at Prayer on Friday, 10 April 2026, at 1:00 pm, and the Inter-Denominational Church Service on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at 9:00 am.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, will lead a press briefing on Monday, 13 April 2026, at 10:00 am. Other events include the Faculty Innovation Showcase, Drug Awareness and Sensitisation Lecture, and the Vice-Chancellor's Fireside Chat with First-Class Graduands.
The tree planting ceremony, which will feature the best graduating students, will take place on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, at 10:00 am.
