A woman who had recently returned from the United Kingdom to attend a wedding in Abeokuta, Ogun State, lost her life in a road accident along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The incident occurred on Monday evening near the Christopher University axis of the expressway.

The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Redeemed Hospital morgue, while the injured victims were taken to Famobis Hospital and Redeemed Hospital for treatment.
