Alhaji Umar Musa, the Uchu of Ninzo in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has called on Governor Uba Sani to construct access roads linking Fadan Ninzo Chiefdom with neighbouring communities. The appeal was made during the Ninzo Annual Cultural Festival held in Fadan Ninzo, themed "Harmony with Nature: Celebrating Indigenous Roots". Musa specifically requested a road connecting Fadan Ninzo to Agamati Chiefdom and another linking the area to Wamba and Akwanga in Nasarawa State via Abu, Randa, Katarza and Akwanga. He noted that apart from the existing road to Gwantu, the headquarters of Sanga LGA, the chiefdom lacks direct access to nearby areas.
Musa also urged the government to upgrade the primary healthcare centre in Fadan Ninzo to a rural hospital to improve healthcare access. He called for the establishment of a cottage industry to create jobs for unemployed youths and requested the elevation of Fadan Ninzo Chiefdom from second-class to first-class status. He commended Governor Sani's administration for progress in health, security and infrastructure. Governor Sani, represented by his Counsellor for Political Affairs, Ado Dogo, acknowledged the role of cultural festivals in preserving heritage and encouraged communities to promote patriotism and development. He mentioned a N100 million allocation for each of Kaduna's 255 political wards in the 2026 budget to support community-prioritised projects. The festival also served as a fundraiser for the Ninzo Empowerment Centre and featured the Miss Ninzo pageant, cultural displays and musical performances.
