According to Frank, the president's administration has been sidelining other regions of the country in federal appointments and development initiatives. This, he claims, undermines national unity and is a deliberate strategy to concentrate power and wealth in Lagos. Frank argues that such actions are a clear betrayal of the president's promise to treat all regions fairly and ensure equitable distribution of opportunities and infrastructure.
Frank also accuses the administration of worsening nepotism beyond previous governments, including that of former President Muhammadu Buhari. He claims that key positions and benefits are disproportionately skewed in favour of a select few, while other regions are left to suffer. Frank raises concerns over a series of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and foreign loans, alleging that many of them are tied to projects in Lagos without a visible nationwide impact.
Frank questions the transparency and execution of such deals, warning that they could deepen Nigeria's debt burden without delivering commensurate value. He alleges that the country risks being used to boost foreign industries at the expense of its own development.
President Tinubu's Lagos-centric agenda is a clear betrayal of his promise to treat all regions fairly. By concentrating power and wealth in Lagos, he is undermining national unity and exacerbating regional divisions.
