Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, the Nigerian midfielder on loan at Pisa from Inter Milan, has attracted interest from multiple clubs after a breakthrough season in Serie A. The 20-year-old featured in 22 top-flight matches, starting 13, during a campaign that ended in relegation for Pisa. Despite the team's struggles, Akinsanmiro's performances earned him a call-up to Nigeria's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations squad and caught the attention of several clubs across Europe. His agent, Crescenzo Cecere, confirmed that inquiries are ongoing, stating, "He's made a great step forward with Pisa. The club's season was disappointing, but from a personal standpoint, the boy can be satisfied. There's no shortage of inquiries." Pisa holds a €6 million option to buy Akinsanmiro, but Inter Milan are reportedly planning to trigger a €7.5 million buy-back clause to reclaim the player and sell him at a profit. Akinsanmiro, a product of Remo Stars, is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2028–2029 season.
