Nigeria's Minister of Education Tunji Alausa announced that the National Education Loan Fund (NELFund) has assisted more than one million students, with total disbursements surpassing N1.1 billion. He made the statement while inaugurating two newly completed GYB Model Science Secondary Schools – one in Nagazi, Adavi Local Government Area, and the other in Okebukun, Kabba‑Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State. Alausa also said that over 160,000 young Nigerians have received digital‑skill training nationwide. The minister highlighted the federal government's focus on STEM, technical and vocational education and digital innovation.
