Stop political witch-hunt of our members – NNPP tells Kano gov’t

The New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Kano State chapter, has warned the Kano State Government against what it described as a political witch-hunt of its members.
The party made its position known on Saturday during a press briefing at its headquarters in Kano.
Speaking to journalists, the NNPP Publicity Secretary in the state, Engr. Ibrahim Karaye said the recent actions of the government against some of its members are undemocratic and unwarranted.
“Politics should be played with decorum and respect for one another,” Karaye said.
The party accused the Kano State Government, which it said was formed through its platform before later abandoning the party, of targeting its members.
