Starmer emphasized that the focus should remain on resolving the Ukrainian crisis, stating that the ongoing conflict in Iran cannot divert attention away from the need to support Ukraine. In a significant development, Starmer and Zelensky signed a defence partnership that seeks to leverage Ukraine's expertise in countering drones to boost global defensive capabilities. The deal aims to harness Ukraine's expertise in fending off drones from Russia's attacks, as well as Britain's industrial base, to manufacture and supply drones and innovative capabilities.
