Spacey Jane Release New Single ‘Do You Really Love Her’, Announce Summer Tour
**Nigerian Music Fans, Get Ready for Australian Indie Rockers Spacey Jane**
If you're a fan of alternative music, then you'll be excited to hear that Australian indie rock band Spacey Jane has just released a brand new single, "Do You Really Love Her". The song, which was left off their critically acclaimed third album "If That Makes Sense", is a nostalgic trip back to the classic Australian pub rock sound, reminiscent of legendary bands like INXS, The Church, and Icehouse.
Frontman Caleb Harper explains that the song was always destined to see the light of day, even if it didn't quite fit with the album's vibe. "For some reason the song didn’t feel like the right fit for the album but we always wanted it to see the light of day," he said in a statement.
The song was written on Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills with collaborators Sarah Aarons and Joel Little, and produced by John Hill. Harper describes the single as a deliberate creative experiment, allowing the band to share music that didn't make it onto the album.
But that's not all - Spacey Jane has also announced an extensive summer tour across the United States. The If That Makes Sense Tour kicks off on June 2 in New Haven, Connecticut, with festival appearances at Governors Ball Music Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, and Osheaga Festival. The band will also support Rainbow Kitten Surprise on a run of amphitheater dates through July.
And if you're in Australia, you can catch Spacey Jane live at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, where they'll be performing three sold-out nights. The band will also release a live album from these performances, titled "Live at The Hordern Pavilion (Sydney, NSW) 2025", on Record Store Day this April.
Spacey Jane's album "If That Makes Sense" debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and earned nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Video at the 2025 ARIA Awards. With their new single and tour dates, it's clear that this Australian indie rock band is one to watch.
