The market which would be closed for one week is third of its kind to be shutdown by Soludo in an effort to stop traders and other residents from observing lockdown on Mondays disguised as sit-at-home. The state Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, who announced this in a statement, explained that the market would reopen for business next week Monday March 2, 2026.
