Security expert and public affairs analyst, Zekeri Idris, has stated that Nigeria’s insecurity challenges can be significantly reduced within one year if the government shows genuine commitment and adopts a strategic approach. Mr Idris made this assertion during an interview with The Honest Bunch, where he criticized what he described as a “lack of political will in tackling security issues across the country”. According to him, countries facing similar threats had recorded rapid improvements once leadership became decisive and intentional.
