The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has attributed the remarkable progress in infrastructural development in the territory to the unwavering support of President Bola Tinubu. Wike, who recently inspected ongoing projects across the FCT, noted that the President's commitment to timely project delivery has been instrumental in achieving this pace of development.

The Minister explained that the President's close monitoring of project implementation has ensured that jobs are done on time and to the expected quality. This, he said, has been a major factor in the government's ability to deliver projects efficiently. Wike also commended the routine inspections carried out by the government, which have enabled them to monitor contractors' progress and ensure that projects meet standards.

At Arterial Road S1, from Ring Road II to the FCT Fire Service Station in Kaura District, Wike expressed optimism that the project would be completed and handed over within the next five months. The extension of Obafemi Awolowo Way, linking Gwarimpa, Life Camp, and Dape District with Karmo, was also inspected, with the Minister confirming that it was 100 per cent complete and ready for inauguration to mark Tinubu's third year in office.

The Minister also visited the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, where he inspected the construction of 10 bungalow housing units for teachers and staff, which had been completed and furnished. He expressed satisfaction with the female hostel, which was expected to be completed by November, but was not impressed with the male hostel, which he felt was not up to the same standard.
