The suspects, Adamu Sani Ya'u and Musa Abdullahi, are currently being investigated at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Dutse. In another operation, the police in Taura Local Government Area apprehended a group of robbers who had blocked a road and snatched a resident's motorcycle. The bike was later recovered through intelligence-led operations in the area. In Birnin Kudu, detectives also arrested three suspected motorcycle thieves and recovered a Bajaj motorcycle. Another unregistered motorcycle was recovered in Hadejia after a suspect fled on sighting the police. The recent arrests are a welcome development in the fight against crime in Jigawa State.
