The Plateau State Government and security agencies must take concrete steps to address the persistent insecurity in the state. Governor Caleb Mutfwang must work closely with President Bola Tinubu to ensure that the demands of the Plateau Youth Coalition are met. The displacement of terrorists from the North-East and North-West to Plateau State is a cause for concern, and the international community must be urged to provide military assistance to tackle this menace. The killing of security personnel in Kanam Local Government Area is a stark reminder of the vulnerability of Nigerians. The Plateau State Government must ensure that the security of its citizens is prioritized, and the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are brought to justice.
