The Plateau State advisory council on interreligious harmony has promised proactive measures to combat multidimensional conflicts threatening peaceful coexistence in the state. The Council condemned violence attacks in Barkin-Ladi, Riyom and Bassa local governments, leading to loss of lives and properties. They also decried blocking of highways and reprisal attacks in Barkin-Ladi. Prof. Pandam Yaksat, co-chairman of the interfaith advisory council, expressed sadness and pain over the incidents. “Accept our heartfelt condolences at this critical moment.
