The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) factions have embarked on a fresh peace process in a bid to unite the party ahead of the national convention scheduled for March 29-30, 2026. The PDP's Board of Trustees, led by Sen. Adolphus Wabara, has constituted a high-powered committee to interface with estranged party members. The National Working Committee has also postponed the National Executive Committee and National Caucus meetings as a demonstration of good faith.
