Onwukwem/Ijele’s Property Syndicate Defies Court Orders, Faces New Allegations Of Fraud, Theft, Others

A notorious real estate syndicate, led by Lawrence Onwukwem and Isaiah Ijele, has been accused of yet another set of egregious crimes, including fraud, theft, and illegal evictions. The syndicate, operating under the name Green Birch Tech Ltd., has been linked to several cases of deceit and intimidation, with victims claiming to have been duped into renting properties that do not exist. A recent petition to the Lagos State government alleges that the syndicate carried out a midnight invasion of a resident's home in Pebblerock Apartments, Oniru, Lagos State, on February 6, 2026, in defiance of a court order issued by the High Court of Lagos State in December 2025. This latest incident is reminiscent of a previous case involving residents of 16 units of 3-bedroom apartments in Lekki Phase 1, who accused the company of unlawful entry, theft, and harassment.

The Lagos resident, Oyinkansola Talabi, claims that the actions of the syndicate are a brazen disregard for the law and a threat to public safety. The case has sparked outrage among residents and experts, who are calling for the authorities to take swift action against the syndicate. The Nigerian real estate sector has been plagued by cases of scams and deceit, with many investors and homeowners falling victim to unscrupulous operators.
