Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, on Wednesday received decampees from all the major parties in the state, vowing to deliver 2.5 million votes to President Bola Tinubu in next year’s election. The governor stated this while addressing party leaders and members of Africa Democratic Congress, the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, who joined the APC at a rally held at the Garrick Memorial Ground, Ekenwan Road, Benin City. The governor also declared that Edo State is firmly in the grips of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
