The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) recently paid a visit to the Ogun State House of Assembly, led by their Acting Chairperson, Oluwatoyin Adegoke. During their meeting, they presented a position paper highlighting the urgent need for the Special Seats Bill to be passed into law. Adegoke emphasized that Nigeria's democratic framework is incomplete without the participation of half of its population, which is predominantly women. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, welcomed the delegation and praised NAWOJ for their commitment to equity and good governance.
