Obasa distributes free cooking gas to 4,000 residents

Agege Local Government under the leadership of Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, has launched a major social welfare initiative aimed at cushioning the effects of rising cooking gas prices on residents.
The council, Saturday, provided free 3kg cooking gas refills to 4,000 residents across the seven political wards in Agege. The intervention forms part of the chairman’s ongoing people-focused programmes designed to ease economic pressure on households at the grassroots level.
To ensure fairness and inclusivity, the 4,000 slots were evenly distributed among the seven wards. Each ward was assigned a designated gas station, where beneficiaries accessed the free refills.
