Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, and former Governor Akinwumi Ambode have said the continuity of President Bola Tinubu's administration beyond 2027 is essential to consolidating the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Messrs Obasa and Ambode spoke on Saturday during an interfaith prayer in Ikeja organised to commemorate Mr Tinubu's 74th birthday by the Mandate Movement (TMM).
Mr Obasa, representing Agege-01, said the president's achievements, particularly in economic growth, position him strongly for a second term.
Describing Mr Tinubu as a pragmatic and visionary leader, Mr Obasa, a third-time speaker, said his administration's policies and reforms were already reshaping Nigeria's socio-economic landscape.
