Nigerian teenager sentenced to life imprisonment for m8rder in UK

A Nigerian teenager who m8rdered a 21‑year‑old man has been given a life sentence in the United Kingdom.
Jackson Uwagboe, 19, of Hamilton Street, Lewisham, fled to Nigeria after the "vicious attack" in south-east London.
Uwagboe was convicted on 10 February at the Old Bailey of m8rdering Robert Robinson on 6 June 2024 in Deptford.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, for the m8rder, as well as robbery and possession of a bladed article.
Two other men, Ryan Wedderburn, 18, and Kirk Harris, 19, were convicted of Robinson's murder in May last year and jailed for life.
They were ordered to serve minimum terms of 23 years and 22 years and nine months respectively.
