A Nigerian teenager who m8rdered a 21‑year‑old man has been given a life sentence in the United Kingdom. Jackson Uwagboe, 19, of Hamilton Street, Lewisham, fled to Nigeria after the "vicious attack" in south-east London. Uwagboe was convicted on 10 February at the Old Bailey of m8rdering Robert Robinson on 6 June 2024 in Deptford. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, for the m8rder, as well as robbery and possession of a bladed article. Two other men, Ryan Wedderburn, 18, and Kirk Harris, 19, were convicted of Robinson's murder in May last year and jailed for life.
