Nigeria’s aggregate Value Added Tax (VAT) stood at ₦2.06 trillion in Q2 2025, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Tuesday. In its latest report, the agency said the revenue surge marked a 10.66% increase from ₦2.06 trillion in the previous quarter. A breakdown of the report shows local VAT payments dominating at ₦1.12 trillion, foreign VAT payments contributing ₦680.23 billion, and import VAT adding ₦479.79 billion.
