On May 1, 49,800 Tramadol capsules were seized from two suspects on Bauchi Road in Hadejia, Jigawa. In Lagos, 740kg of skunk was recovered during a raid at Awolowo Market, Mushin, on May 2. In Edo, a suspect was arrested on April 30 in Idogbo community with 57 grams of Loud, three grams of Colorado, eight grams of Tramadol, three grams of Swinol, and five grams of methamphetamine. Buba Marwa commended officers in Borno, Kaduna, Jigawa, Oyo, Osun, and Lagos for their role in the operations and urged continued efforts in drug supply reduction and WADA sensitisation.
