National Industrial Court orders ex-RTEAN secretary to be remanded in Kuje over contempt The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has ordered the committal of former Secretary-General of the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria, Yusuf Adeniyi, to Kuje Correctional Centre for contempt of court. The Court also directed that Eriyo Osakpamwan be taken into custody for continuing to assert himself as the National President of RTEAN. Justice O.Y. Anuwe, in a ruling delivered on February 24, 2026, found both Adeniyi and Osakpamwan guilty of disobeying a subsisting judgment issued on October 13, 2020.
