The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has introduced a new digital system called CampusPay. The platform is intended to improve how student union fees are collected and managed, aiming for greater financial transparency, accountability and speed. NAPS says the tool will streamline payment processes for polytechnic students across the country.
CampusPay gives students a single, online avenue to settle union dues, removing the need for cash hand‑overs that often cause delays and disputes. By digitising payments, polytechnics can monitor revenue in real time, reducing the risk of misappropriation and ensuring that funds reach intended projects promptly.
In a broader context, the move aligns with Nigeria's push for digital solutions in education, echoing recent reforms in JAMB and WAEC that seek to modernise administrative functions. As more institutions adopt e‑payment models, students and parents should familiarise themselves with the platform's registration steps and keep records of transactions to safeguard against potential glitches.
Students are advised to register on CampusPay as soon as their institutions open access, verify that their payment details are correct, and retain confirmation receipts for future reference.
