Mubarak Ahmad-Gumi declares Kaduna Assembly bid on APC platform Mubarak Ahmad-Gumi, son of Kaduna-based Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has announced his intention to contest for a seat in the Kaduna State House of Assembly in 2027. Ahmad-Gumi said he will run on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent the Doka/Gabasawa constituency, explaining that his decision followed appeals from residents of the district who urged him to enter the race.
