Moses Simon Reaches Ligue 1 Milestone
Moses Simon has now made 200 Ligue 1 appearances, becoming only the second Nigerian player to reach that milestone after John Utaka.
Simon reached the landmark in a goalless draw against RC Strasbourg.
Moses has been playing in Ligue 1 since 2019, he spent six seasons with FC Nantes where he played 177 Ligue 1 games scoring 33 goals and providing 37 assists.
During his time at the club he helped them remain in the French top flight, won the Coupe de France, and qualified for the UEFA Europa League.
He was also one of the most consistent wide players in the league during his time at Nantes, known for his pace, direct dribbling and creativity in the final third.
His performances made him a key figure for the club across multiple seasons.

This season he has 23 Ligue 1 games for Paris FC, he has scored three goals and provided two assists.
Simon has a record that stands out in Ligue 1, he is the first Nigerian to record 10 assists in a single Ligue 1 season, achieved in the 2024/25 campaign with Nantes.
On the international stage Simon has played in four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments for Nigeria. He has earned 95 caps for the Super Eagles since making his debut in 2015.
