A public affairs commentator, Mahdi Shehu, has said the United States may not remain a dominant global power forever, warning that history shows that powerful empires eventually decline. In a post shared on X on Saturday, Shehu argued that ruthless and over ambitious empires come and go. He added that America may not be an exception. According to him, the United States is currently on what he described as an expedition and voluntary voyage aimed at deciding what happens across the world, choosing enemies for decimation and friends to support.
