Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has announced that the institution will observe Easter public holidays on Friday, 3 April 2026, and Monday, 6 April 2026. The break follows the Federal Government's declaration of the two days as public holidays for Easter celebrations.
All staff and students are expected to observe the holidays, except essential personnel who will remain on duty. Full academic and administrative activities will resume across the campus on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.
The university management, in a message issued on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, extended Easter greetings to the Christian faithful. They were encouraged to reflect on the values of love, sacrifice, and obedience associated with the Easter season.
The holiday schedule gives students and staff a four-day break, with resumption set for 7 April 2026. This clear timeline helps academic and administrative units plan effectively around the Easter period.
