Spread the word Normalcy has been restored at the Otto-Ijanikin axis of the Lagos-Badagry expressway following swift intervention by the Lagos state Police command after a violent communal clash between youths in the area. The Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, personally led a joint team of police operatives and tactical squads to clear the road blockage and restore traffic flow at Otto-Ijanikin on Saturday morning. The expressway, which had been obstructed for several hours due to the clash between youths of Ijanikin and Otto communities, was successfully reopened at about 9a.m., allowing commuters and residents to resume normal activities.
