Laju emphasized the importance of women not defining themselves solely by the roles they play in society, such as wife, daughter, sister, friend, and mother. While these roles are essential and bring great joy, they should not be the only reflection of a woman's identity. In our culture, women are often taught from a young age to prioritize the needs of others before exploring their own passions and aspirations. This can lead to a situation where a woman's sense of self-worth is tied to her roles and responsibilities, making it difficult to cope when those roles change or diminish. As Laju aptly put it, women often ask themselves, "Who am I without these roles?" It's essential to recognize that societal expectations can be both positive and negative.
