Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba state, has ordered the immediate constitution of a committee to investigate alleged corruption at the Taraba State University, with particular focus on the institution’s accounting department, as the university grapples with an ongoing indefinite strike. The directive was issued weekend when the governor received a five-year peace development plan from the Bureau for Conflict Management Board at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo. Addressing stakeholders at the event, Kefas linked the lingering crisis at the university to what he described as financial misconduct within the institution.
