The Kebbi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has confirmed its participation in the forthcoming national convention. The convention is being organised by a faction of the party aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. According to Abubakar Kalgo, the State Secretary of the party, the decision to attend the convention was taken unanimously by key stakeholders in the state.
Kalgo stated that all delegates from Kebbi State are prepared to participate fully in the exercise, which is scheduled to take place in Abuja from Sunday to Monday. The state secretary expressed satisfaction with the arrangements for the convention and highlighted the importance of strengthening internal cohesion within the party.
