Bayero University Kano has threatened to impound stray animals found roaming within its campuses and sanction their owners. A statement on Tuesday by the university’s Director of Public Affairs, Lamara Garba, on behalf of the Registrar, warned that “the rearing of animals within the university premises is strictly prohibited” under the Revised Guidelines for Staff Housing Allocation and Maintenance.
