How Appeal Court heard 357 appeals, 272 motions in a week In a strategic move to address congestion in its Port-Harcourt division, the Court of Appeal recently held a week-long special session during which no less than 357 appeals and 272 motions were considered. The session, held from February 16 as part of the court’s golden jubilee celebration, featured 17 panels made up of 51 Justices drawn from the court’s various divisions across the country.
