Group urges women, youths to take active role in politics
**Naija Women and Youths, Take Your Seats in Politics!**
As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections, a group called the Initiative for a Better and Brighter Nigeria (IBBN) is urging women and youths to play a more significant role in shaping the country's future. The organisation believes that their participation is crucial to strengthening Nigeria's democracy.
Recently, the IBBN held a one-day sensitisation programme in Sokoto with the theme, "Women and Youth Involvement in Politics: A Panacea for Democratic Growth." The event aimed to educate the public and encourage them to make informed decisions about the country's future.
According to IBBN Chairman, Ibrahim Wakili, the organisation's mission is to mobilise citizens and guide them towards credible political choices. He stated that the future of Nigeria's democracy depends on the level of involvement of women and youths, who make up a significant part of the society.
Wakili commended the IBBN team in Sokoto State for their hard work and dedication to advancing the vision of a better Nigeria. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of the organisation's founder, Dr. Isa El-Buba, in working towards a brighter future for the country.
The IBBN believes that women and youths have the power to influence their communities and make a positive impact on Nigeria's politics. At the programme, participants were carefully selected because of their ability to mobilise thousands of people and guide them towards making informed decisions.
This call to action comes at a time when Nigeria needs the fresh perspectives and ideas of its younger and female citizens. With the 2027 general elections fast approaching, it's essential that women and youths take an active role in shaping the country's future.
By participating in politics, women and youths can bring about positive change and contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria. As the IBBN urged, it's time for Naija women and youths to take their seats in politics and make their voices heard!
