Nigerian gospel singer Judikay and her husband, Pastor Anselem Opara, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The gospel singer shared the good news on her Instagram with photos from her maternity shoot. Judikay revealed that on the 14th of February, they welcomed their second baby, Shekinah Umechukwu Opara, meaning the breath and manifest glory of the Lord. The singer said their newborn daughter is God’s literal gift of love to them and expressed gratitude to Him. “On the 14th of February 2026, we welcomed our second baby: Shekinah Umechukwu Opara; The Breath and Manifest Glory of the Lord. She is God’s literal love gift to us. Have you seen the Lord fail? Jesus has the final (scratch that) ONLY say. We are raising this praise RIWÒTITÒ HALLELUYAH 🎶 so loud! All Glory to Jesus”. Rejoicing with her, Mercy Chinwo’s husband wrote, “Congratulations, family Steve Crown wrote, “Wow, big congratulations Lala Akindoju wrote, “Hallelujah! Congratulations”. Judikay and her husband, Anselem Okpara, tied the knot in a traditional marriage ceremony on August 15th, 2020 and had their white wedding in November 2020. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Joshua Ikechukwu Opara, in March 2022. The couple shared the joyous announcement on social media, celebrating their journey into parenthood. Celebrating her husband’s birthday, she expressed pride in seeing him standing so tall, ruthlessly rooted in faith, sealed in Christ. She said it is an honour to walk down the aisle with him. Judikay is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music minister who joined the Eezee Conceptz family in February 2019, home to powerhouse vocalist and celebrated gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
