**Water for All: Akwa Ibom Governor Partners with GIFA to Boost Rural Water Supply** Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has taken a significant step towards ensuring that every ward in the state has access to clean and safe drinking water. In his speech at the 2nd Anniversary celebration of the Golden Initiative For All (GIFA), he directed the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation to partner with GIFA to establish a new rural water system in each of the 369 wards of the state. This move is a clear demonstration of the Governor's commitment to improving the lives of Akwa Ibom people, particularly in the rural areas where access to clean water is a major challenge. By partnering with GIFA, the state government aims to ensure that every ward has a GIFA Water Project within the next year.
