Dot MFB Marks International Women's Day with Internal Engagement and AI Training for Female Entrepreneurs

In celebration of International Women's Day 2026, Dot Microfinance Bank (Dot MFB) launched a series of initiatives to empower women within its organisation and across the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The bank kicked off its activities with an internal session titled "Give to Gain: The Real Journey Behind Success," designed to foster open dialogue among women in the workplace. The session featured a keynote speaker and panellists who shared insights on career growth, personal development, and navigating professional challenges. The session was well received by participants, with positive feedback highlighting the value of authentic conversations and shared experiences.

Extending its International Women's Day initiative beyond internal engagement, Dot MFB launched "She Scales with AI," a 3-day virtual masterclass designed to equip female entrepreneurs with practical digital tools for business growth. The programme was delivered in partnership with Techlytics, a firm specialising in practical, business-focused AI implementation. The masterclass focused on enabling participants to automate customer engagement, build AI-powered business websites, and develop structured digital sales and customer engagement workflows. The programme recorded over 60 registrations, reflecting strong demand among female entrepreneurs seeking to improve their digital capabilities.

Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in hands-on implementation, building real tools for their businesses rather than relying solely on theoretical instruction. At the end of the programme, participants who met attendance and participation requirements successfully graduated, receiving co-branded certificates issued by Dot MFB and Techlytics. Participants shared positive feedback on the programme, highlighting its practical and hands-on approach.

The Managing Director of Dot Microfinance Bank, Victor Udochi, has reaffirmed the bank's commitment to creating opportunities that drive sustainable growth for women-led businesses. By empowering women with practical tools and knowledge, the bank aims to contribute to stronger communities and economic development.
