Denon has expanded its lineup of multi-room speakers with the introduction of the Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600. These new speakers offer users a fresh alternative to existing options, providing flexibility in audio setup and compatibility with other HEOS-enabled products. The devices were designed to blend seamlessly with home decor, with stone and charcoal color options available. As the number increases, so does the size and sonic output of the speakers.
The Denon Home 200 features three drivers and three amplifiers, delivering "natural, room-filling sound" in a compact speaker. It houses two 0.98-inch tweeters and a single 4-inch woofer. The Home 200 can be used in a stereo setup or paired with other Denon products for a 5.1 home theater system.
The Home 400 boasts two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 4.5-inch woofers, and six amplifiers, along with two 1-inch up-firing drivers. This configuration provides a "wide, airy soundstage" and room-filling audio coverage. The upward-facing drivers project sound overhead, creating a greater sense of dimensionality and immersion.
The largest speaker in the new lineup is the Home 600, featuring dual 6.5-inch woofers, two tweeters, two midrange units, and two up-firing drivers. This configuration offers "deep, authoritative bass" and more depth in audio playback.
All three speakers have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, and aux connectivity, powered by Denon's HEOS technology. They can be connected to up to 64 other HEOS devices and arranged in up to 32 different zones. The speakers support tunes from Tidal, Amazon Music HD, and Qobuz through the HEOS app and Dolby Atmos Music where available.
The Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600 are available today for $399, $599, and $799 respectively, from Denon directly or authorized retailers.
Denon's new multi-room speakers offer a compelling alternative to existing options, with a focus on flexibility and compatibility. While they may not be as portable as some competitors, their ability to be used in a variety of setups makes them an attractive option for those looking to upgrade their home audio systems. As the demand for wireless streaming continues to grow, Denon's HEOS technology is well-positioned to meet this need.
