**Naija News: Davido Condemns Bullying Incident at Edo School**
Popular Afrobeats artiste, Davido, has expressed his disappointment and disgust over a disturbing bullying incident involving students of Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State. A viral video on social media showed two male students mercilessly beating and kicking another student who was already on the ground, crying in pain.
The incident sparked outrage on social media, prompting swift action from the school authorities and the police. Davido, who is widely respected for his philanthropic efforts and love for his fans, took to social media to express his disgust at the incident. He described the perpetrators as "Animals" and condemned their actions as "disgusting".
The school management has since taken disciplinary action, expelling the students directly involved in the bullying and suspending the student who recorded the video. The Edo State Police Command has also launched an investigation into the incident, with a promise to arrest and prosecute those involved in accordance with the law.
The police spokesperson, Eno Ikioedem, stated that the Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, has directed the police to thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice. The police have assured the public that they will not tolerate acts of bullying, violence, or intimidation among students and will deal with anyone found culpable in accordance with the law.
This incident highlights the need for schools and parents to take a strong stance against bullying and ensure that students are safe and protected from harm. It is heartening to see the police and school authorities taking swift action to address this incident and prevent similar cases in the future.
As a nation, we must work together to create a safe and supportive environment for our children to grow and learn. Bullying has no place in our schools or communities, and we must all do our part to prevent it and support those who have been affected by it.
