Court grants Malami, son N200m bail in terrorism financing, firearms possession trial

An Abuja Federal High Court has admitted former Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami, SAN, and his son, Abdulaziz, to N200 million bail in their ongoing trial for alleged terrorism financing and illegal firearms possession.
The charge was brought against them by the Department of State Services, DSS.
In a ruling on Friday, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik however ordered that Malami and his son be remanded in Kuje Prison pending the perfection of the bail conditions imposed on them by the court.
Justice Abdulmalik issued the order on Friday while ruling on the Malamis bail applications, argued by their lead counsel, Joseph Daudu, SAN.
