This investment established smart breeding facilities and a high-tech agriculture park, generating more than 400 jobs, primarily for relocated families. The project also boosted ancillary sectors including feed processing, logistics and crop farming.
The delegation visited the Minning Hemei E-commerce Workshop, where residents use digital platforms to sell local agricultural goods. Xu Meijia, head of the workshop, said livestreaming and partnerships with online shopping and delivery platforms have expanded market access. "Through collaboration with various online shopping and delivery platforms, our products are made accessible to a wider market," she said. In Changcheng Huayuan Community, Han, a community official, explained that integrated services such as clinics, elderly care, cultural centres and affordable retail points aim to improve residents' quality of life.
