Chase Stokes has a new tattoo that might allude to his breakup with Kelsea Ballerini. The Outer Banks star shared a photo of his new ink to instagram on March 12. The tattoo comes less than a week after Chase was feuding with Kelsea’s ex-husband, Morgan Evans, on social media. In case you’re wonder how Chase Stokes is doing amid his most recent breakup from Kelsea Ballerini, the Outer Banks star seems to be dealing at the very least, and has entered a new phase of his healing process—getting a new tattoo in the hopes of moving on. In a March 12 post to his Instagram Story, Chase shared a photo of his back to show off the freshly placed ink just beneath his neck. But because every tattoo has a deeper meaning, the ink contained a cryptic phrase despite its delicate script. Chase was feuding with Kelsea’s ex-husband, Morgan Evans, on Instagram last week after Morgan talked about his divorce from Kelsea on the March 4 The Bobby Bones Show. “It took me by surprise,” he told Bonesin the episode. “That whole time is such a blur. It almost feels like somebody else, just from where I'm sitting now. I just look back and I'm like, ‘Oh, my God.’” “It all happened super quick,” Morgan added. “From finding out that that was what Kelsea wanted to do, to getting a lawyer and having a prenup and having three or four calls with the lawyer and signing the documents in the Ryman parking lot in the rain, to going home.” On March 5, Chase hopped on Bones’ with a few choice words place into the comments section: “This is about the most pathetic excuse of masculinity I've ever seen. Get a fucking life.” Naturally, Chase later deleted the comment. Hopefully the new tatt helps Chase move on, but he and Kelsea still have some residual feeling that’s probably making things difficult. “They still love each other, which is why they've kept trying to make it work,” a source told Peoplein February. “But their lives are in very different places right now. Figuring out where to live and how to truly merge their lives has been hard lately. It's been something they've gone back and forth on.” The source added, “They just want to be happy though. They've been trying to figure out a situation where they are both happy together, but that doesn't seem possible at the moment.”
