Calista Kay Flockhart, born on November 11, 1964, is an American actress best known for her lead role in the ABC series Ally McBeal (1997–2002). Her unique and charming performance as Ally won her a Golden Globe in 1998 and three Emmy nominations. She also became well known for playing Kitty Walker on Brothers & Sisters (2006–2011) and Cat Grant on Supergirl (2015–2021).
